My brief was to create a brand that worked with the history of the pub. The pub acquired the name 'The Bunk Inn' as it was known for being a place of escape for the local work men, a place to 'bunk off' work.
The concept of cutlery as tools or tools as cutlery was my approach to the brand and a way to play on the story the pub holds. Photographic style required an authentic english country feel to tie in with the locals, the menu and stylish vintage interior.
The Bunk Inn is part of the Upham Pub Company which own and run a rapidly expanding chain of Hampshire pubs. Each of these pubs is styled in accordance to the brand guidelines I have created - you can see some of the other logos in the signage below.
