Light Up Lancaster were seeking a photographer to provide documentary evidence for event partners and marketing materials for future events and publications by Lancaster City Council, Lancaster BID and the Lancaster Arts Partners. After being successful in the role as photographer for 2017, I met to plan coverage of the event and discuss the desired style for the photography.
The shoot would capture local craft workshops leading up to the event in the evening, the atmosphere in the audience, the characters, the enjoyment, the performers, art installations, lights, colour and celebration in the heart of Lancaster and the cities landmarks.
